Anchorage offers abundant recreational opportunities as well including hiking, skiing, fishing, and wildlife viewing. In between Anchorage and Eagle river (about 20 minutes north) is JBER our military base. You will meet many people coming and going all from different backgrounds. The city has a big community with cultural scenes such as museums, theatres, and a diverse population. A great thing about Anchorage is your located in the center of all the exploring there is to do in our beautiful state & you have the ease of city living at your doorstep.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

It is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiast, wildlife lovers, and those who appreciate a slower pace to the normal city life.
